Bumbo takes special care to insure the highest degree of comfort and safety when designing our unique baby products without compromising on quality when it comes to the manufacturing processes and materials used.

All Bumbo Products comply with a range of European and USA(ASTM) safety requirements and quality standards.

We therefore provide you with this “Limited Warranty” as our commitment to ensure that all Bumbo products will be free from material defects in material and/or workmanship for one year after its original purchase date. So please retain your original sales receipt that will enable you to benefit from our “Limited Warranty”.

This “Limited Warranty” does not cover claims resulting from misuse, abuse, failure to follow product instructions or warnings (which may be displayed on packaging, instruction manuals, the product itself, Bumbo website or media) and wear and tear.

To ensure that you and your baby enjoy a happy, hygienic and safe Bumbo experience, we encourage you to use a new product accompanied by an instruction manual, free of alterations from its original state and which is not tarnished by the effects of wear and tear. Therefore, this “Limited Warranty” is not transferable and only offered to the first time buyer. It does not extend to second-hand products and is limited to material defects in material and/or workmanship.

Please note, for the safety of your child, Bumbo only uses organic pigments to colour the soft parts of our products. Therefore, the use of harsh cleaning chemicals, excessive dampness and exposure to weather is not covered by this “Limited Warranty”.

BUMBO DOES NOT GIVE ANY WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS (WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED) EXCEPT AS SET OUT IN THIS “LIMITED WARRANTY”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUMBO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RELATING TO BUMBO PRODUCTS OR THE USE THEREOF.

Despite the limitations of this warranty, you may have legal rights pursuant to applicable legislation, which may vary by country or state.

Bumbo initiated a Voluntary Recall on the Floor Seat in 2012 whereby retrofit restraint belts were made available to seats manufactured between August 2003 and August 2012.

Subsequently, all Bumbo Floor Seats came fitted with restraint belts.

As per our limited warranty the recommended use of the Bumbo Floor Seat suggests 9 months with a lifespan of one year. If your floor seat does not contain a restraint belt, then your product is older than five years and its reasonable lifespan has lapsed. Since we do not encourage the use of expired products, we no longer make the retrofits available in your market and urge you to discontinue use of the product.

Bumbo reserves all rights.

You must always stay with and watch your baby during use. Even when the restraint belt is used, a baby can cause the Bumbo Floor Seats to slide or move.

The age range and functions of the two seats are fundamentally different. The Bumbo Floor Seat is recommended for babies who are 3-12 months old that can support their own neck, and the Bumbo Multi Seat is recommended for babies who are 6 months to 36 months old and can sit unassisted (supporting their own head and back) For more information please go to the “Products” pages on www.bumbocanada.com
